These Order Terms apply to custom figurines ordered from Layer Figures Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, Company No. SC904970, registered office: 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN.
How a custom order works
Submitting the order form is free and does not create any obligation. We reply with a quote and a first sketch. Once you approve the sketch and the quote, we start production. You pay only at the final stage — when your figurine is finished and ready to ship.
Payment
We do not take any payment upfront. When your figurine is finished, we email you photos of it together with a secure payment link for the full order amount, including shipping. We ship the figurine once the payment is received. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details. Sales tax, where applicable, is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address.
Revisions
One round of edits on the sketch or 3D preview is included in every quote. Additional rounds cost $25 each. Changes requested after printing has started that require a new print are quoted separately.
Cancellations and refunds
- Before you approve the sketch you can cancel at any time.
- Production starts as soon as you approve the sketch. If you change your mind after that, please tell us as soon as possible.
- Because every figurine is personalized, finished pieces cannot be returned or refunded after payment, except in the cases described in our Refund & Replacement Policy.
Damage and defects
If your figurine arrives damaged or has a production defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will repair or remake it free of charge, or refund you if a remake is not possible. See our Refund & Replacement Policy for details.
Your references and image rights
By submitting photos, drawings, links or files you confirm that you own them or have the right to use them for this order. You keep all rights to your references. We use them only to make your figurine.
We may photograph finished figurines for our portfolio and social media. Pieces based on personal photos (portraits, pets, families) are shown only with your permission — you can opt out at any time.
Licensed characters and trademarks
We do not make figurines of characters, logos or designs protected by copyright or trademarks (for example, characters from movies, games or comics) unless you can show that you hold a license for them. We are happy to create an original design inspired by a style you like.
Content we decline
We reserve the right to decline any request, including content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent towards real people or otherwise inappropriate.
